GIBS Ecotourism Resort, Batu Caves, SELANGOR

GIBS Ecotourism Resort was first developed in 2016 on an area of 35 acres in Jalan Ulu Yam, Selangor. This resort is 100% fully owned by the Federation of Selangor Bumiputera Professionals and Entrepreneurs (GIBS). The location is very strategic and only 30 km from Kuala Lumpur City. The resort apply the concept of ‘Stay Healthy With Nature’ which emphasize recreation activities in the orchards of durian, rambutan and other tropical fruits.

With guidance, visitors also can explore the greenery of the forest reserve and surrounding mountains. Besides that, visitors also can experience water recreation in the Batu river and the Batu Dam which flows through the resort. The resort also holds various training programs and activities, human development, chalet accommodation, camping, leisure, obstacle course, family days and river leisure activities.

ACCOMMODATION

Container Chalet

There are 20 unit of chalet rooms inside repurposed containers. You can expect a standard amenities such as air-conditioner, TV and others. There is also a balcony on each room.

Container Dorm

There are 10 unit of dorms inside the containers. You can expect a standard amenities such as air-conditioner, shared toilet and others.

Campsite

You can rent a tent here for RM40 for normal sized tent (4 people) or RM200 for big tent (20 people). There also RM10 charge if you need the tent set up. You also can bring your own tent and rent the site for RM20 (4 people).
