Klang Valley Railway & Transit

There are transit lines operated by KTM, RapidKL and ERL in Klang Valley:

  • RapidKL LRT Sri Petaling Line
  • RapidKL LRT Kelana Jaya Line
  • ERL KLIA Ekspres Line
  • ERL KLIA Transit Line
  • RapidKL KL Monorail Line
  • RapidKL MRT Kajang Line
  • RapidKL MRT Putrajaya Line (Phase 1)
  • KTM Skypark Line
  • RapidKL BRT Sunway Line

Do note that Line 11 on the map are not yet operational and on Line 12, only station between Kwasa Damansara to Kampung Batu are operational (Phase 1).

Meanwhile, northbound and southbound intercity train service called ETS are operated by KTM.

North Sector Railway & Transit

There are 2 railway and 1 ferry lines connecting Butterworth, Sungai Petani and Alor Setar area to suburban area in North Perak, Penang, Kedah and Perlis:

  • KTM Komuter Butterworth Line
  • KTM Komuter Padang Rengas Line
  • Penang Ferry (Butterworth-Georgetown)

Meanwhile, KTM operated northbound and southbound intercity electric train service called ETS.

Touch ‘n Go

Travelers who plan on commuting and travelling around the city a lot with the trains and buses can buy a Touch ‘n Go prepaid card for more convenience. This card is available for purchase at most train stations around the city center including KL Sentral, Masjid Jamek, KLCC, Dang Wangi, Ampang Park and Bangsar RapidKL Sales Counters. KTM Komuter also accept Touch ‘n Go but only through certain gates at their station.


KL TravelPass

KL TravelPass is a smart payment card that you can use to travel on rail public transport in Kuala Lumpur. The enhanced card includes KLIA Ekspres airport transfer (Single or Return Trips) and 2-day unlimited rides on RapidKL rail services (LRT, MRT and KL Monorail lines). You can purchase it at KLIA Ekspres counter at:

  • KLIA Platform, Level 1
  • KLIA and KLIA2 International Baggage Reclaim Hall
  • Gateway@KLIA2, Level 2
  • Departure Hall, Level 1, KL Sentral
