The Gunung Lang Recreational Park, off Kuala Kangsar Road is located in the north of Ipoh City, close to the interchange of the NSE E1. It was built around a scenic backdrop of magnificent limestone hills of Gunung Lang and Gunung Bilike, which has an area of 30.35 hectares for park and 14.16 hectares of water body. The park was developed with minimum physical structures to minimize the impact it has on the surrounding flora and fauna, in line with eco tourism concept.

Among the attractions in Gunung Lang Recreational Park are man-made cascading waterfall atop a limestone hill, a 2 km boardwalk over the swamp, lookout towers, children playground, campsites and facilities such as washroom and prayer room. Here, There is a string of recreational activities one can indulge in, such as fishing, canoeing, caving, Jungle trekking and camping. It is now part of Kinta Geopark which has significance of geological, cultural and historical heritage.

Latest attraction at Gunung Lang, Pavillion Petting Zoo@Gunung Lang was built at a cost of RM1 million on a 1.8-hectare site, is home to 25 species of animals to date. It is located just beside the park entrance.

Gunung Lang Climbing Park

Gunung Lang Climbing Park has more than 20 routes to climb. There are also have routes for multi-pitch and 8A grade routes for those who like a challenge. This area also have beautiful spot of mirror lakes to take pictures.

By Train

Take KTM ETS to Ipoh Station then walk 500 m to Medan Kidd Bus Terminal. Take the bus PerakTransit [35] or myBAS [T31a] and drop off at Taman Foon Ong stop. Then walk for about 1 km to the park. Or just get a taxi/Grab ride to the park for a journey about 10 minutes (5.5 km).

By Bus

Take an express bus to Ipoh Amanjaya Bus Terminal and then get a taxi/Grab ride to the park for a journey about 15 minutes (8.5 km).
