Salu Waterfall or locally known as Jeram Waterfall is located between Gopeng and Kampar. 9 km from Kampar town and 12 km from Gopeng. It is on the way to Sahom, near Sungai Siput Selatan. This waterfall is less popular except for the locals. On a weekday you will probably the only visitor.

The fall is in seven segments, as one navigates up the steep rock formation.  The climb is strenuous. Do not attempt if you are not in the right physical condition. A cemented path follows the stream, you cross a bridge, pass a few small waterfalls and cascades. Soon you will reach the first Salu fall. A nice fall, not spectacular, with a shallow wading pool. When you continue the trail, you will reach, after some scrambling, the upper Salu fall.

Open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., camping and overnight, please contact the District Forest Office. Admission is free.
