Beris Lake Vineyard seems to be closed for good.
Beris Lake Vineyard located at Sik, 47 km from Gurun Plaza Toll is a vineyard operated by Excel Agrotech Sdn Bhd on 34 acres land. The varieties of grape that planted here are Black Opal, Black Grape, White Malaga dan Loose Pelite. There is a shop nearby the entrance to the vineyard and visitors can purchase fresh grapes, canned grape juice and a variety of souvenirs such as mugs, slippers, recycle bags, etc. Visitors also can pick their own grapes and pay for a reasonable price. At the time of this article written, the price is Rm50/kg. The vineyard is good for educational purpose for the children to know how the grapes are produced and planted. Also, it is an awesome place to take photos especially the lake and surrounding scenery. The vineyard is open from 9 am to 5.30 pm on weekdays and 9 am to 6.30 pm on weekend and holidays.

By Car
From NORTH/SOUTH by E1 highway, take EXIT 173 Gurun. After toll plaza, turn right onto Route 175 heading for Sik. Follow the road for 47 km then you will see the sign to the vineyard on your right just before the bridge.
By Train
From KTM Butterworth Station take KTM Komuter for Gurun to KTM Gurun Station. Then, take a taxi or rental car to the vineyard for a 48 km journey. The easiest way, you can take an express bus to Sik Express Bus Terminal then take a taxi to the vineyard.
